Radio wave attenuation is caused by snow accreting on the antenna surface and the water film that forms when the snow melts. Therefore, even if the snow is melted with a snow melting heater, if a water film remains, radio wave attenuation will occur.
When painted with HIREC100, snow does not accumulate due to its Super hydrophobic properties and no water film forms, ensuring stable reception.
